Worked Monday. Tuesday morning Cheryl and I left at the crack of dawn to drive down to sunny Bognor to man the Smile stand at Bognor Bible Week. We were quite excited at the prospect of more fellowship, worship, good teaching and flying the Smile flag but hadn't really realised that Bognor was a sleepy hollow where the average age attending the meetings was going to be 70+! Still, we had some good teaching, it gave us the opportunity to discuss stuff we had been hearing about during Radiant and was all at a quite sedate pace so not so full on or strenuous!! Last night in the meeting Phatfish led the worship and then did a concert after the Bible study. It was worth going all that way just for the concert. As always, they did a great set, John came down for the occasion as he has never seen them live before and he thorouhly enjoyed it too! He enjoys listening to the musical side of things and enjoyed listening to all the guitar rifts. We asked them to sign a DVD and a CD for us so that we can auction them off at Kelly's auction on Saturday, so that should be good.
It's all coming together now, we have got lots to do tomorrow in readiness but I'm off for the day, so after a lie in it'll be all hands to the deck!!!
