Bible Study Blessings

by RacyTracy @ 2008-08-28 - 09:12:07

Last night I went to the Bible Study at Church, we had a great meeting, quite interactive and thought provoking. What we were discussing (John 6 v 60-71) throughout the evening seemed to be all summed up in the verses from Ephesians that I love so much, verses 3-14. It reminded me yet again that I was chosen and selected by God before the creation of the world, am loved by Him and am adopted into His family, He works out all things according to His good purpose and plan, nothing happens in life without His allowing it and most importantly, that I'm not to measure how much God loves me by the circumstances of life. His love is continual and everlasting despite whatever we go through and how we feel. His gift of the Holy Spirit to us, assuring us of our salvation and the deposit guaranteeing our inheritance is fantastic and so very real. The time of prayer at the end of the meeting was good, so many needs amongst the fellowship but great also to praise God for recent answered prayer in the Sickel household!

John bought my bike yesterday too, so I cycled to the meeting which was quite enjoyable, gotta get fit some how! Will see what happens when I cycle to work this morning.........

Great. The video looks fab too. We used to help with something similar for 20 years, now my daughter is a leader instead. It's great to see the youth having a great time together.
