That is assuming a) God exists and b) That you believe he is likely to help you!
Try it like some of my Christian friends have done. It didn't get any of them too far IMHO yoho.
Hi there. Thanks for your comments. I know that God exists and I know that He is able to help me and does all of the time. However, it's not always easy to surrender an entire situation to Him and withdraw your emotions. But at the end of the day I do know that He is in control and is able to change situations and does. I guess I just need to do the letting go and let Him get on and do the doing! Thanks.

Some years ago, I read about some Christian missionaries in Central Africa whose food supplies were running low. The leader pondered in his notebook as to whether they should go hunting or trust in god to provide for them, since they were doing his work. So they chose the latter option.
Their bodies were found some months later - they'd died of starvation.
Cheers, Tom.
Thanks Seaside Man. I can only think that they had fulfilled their roles as missionaries as far as God had planned and that it was better for them to be with Him in Heaven. Sometimes we don't understand the things of life, but I'm convinced that there is always a reason why things happen, I may not know that reason immediately but my faith in God as Creator, Sustainer and Saviour means that I don't always need to know, I can trust Him. Sometimes that's easier to say than to put into practice though, as we're all naturally emotive and like to think we can cope with all life's issues. Anyway, thanks for the story Tom, I hope you have a great day and get some great views today, I enjoy your pics. Thanks. Tracy

You have an attitude to life that I don't really understand, but that's fine. We all have different ways of coping with the vicissitudes of life :-)
I'm glad you like my pictures.
Cheers, Tom.
Many people don't understand faith until they are enabled to do so. But yes, you're right - we do all have different ways of getting through circumstances etc and we are all different. ![]()
Have a great and sunny weekend by the sea. Tracy
