Well we had a good journey to Bristol on the train, went passed lots of water logged fields and lovely countryside but very different weather all the way down, snow, sun, hail, sleet - what a mixture. Fortunately the rain had stopped for the walk to the hotel so we just got very cold, as opposed to cold and wet!
After a superb bit of steak we went to the Colston Hall to see and hear Van Morrison. He was accompanied by a 9-piece orchestra and 2 backing singers this time. It was one of his better concerts, he actually looked as though he was enjoying himself this time - on other occasions he hasn't. He's got a new album coming out and so there were a couple of new ones as well as several of the oldies. A good evening out though.

Yesterday was nice, back to London on the train to meet the girls at the Dominion Theatre to attend Hillsong London's lunchtime Easter Sunday service. A great time of worship and good reminders of what Easter is all about, the message was good and we sang the new song I really enjoyed last time ...'The same power that conquered the grave lives in me.' I still can't find the words on the internet but hopefully it won't be long till the album comes out.

Back to our church in the evening for another service which again was all about the Resurrection Power and Christ's victory at Calvary being our victory over sin.
We concluded the evening with our customary bank holiday game of Risk and a late night with Cheryl & Hamish but hey, none of us had to get up this morning - how lovely!
