John & I went to see Be Kind Rewind at the cinema on Friday night, again another weird storyline but quite a good fun clean film. Some great acting in there from Jack Black who is good in all films I think. Danny Glover is ageing rapidly!

I had a fantastic breakfast on Saturday with approx 100 other women at one of our local churches, all served by the men etc. It was very inspirational to see that many christian women get together to chat and enjoy simple fellowship with one another and share a little about trying to be radical women of God in today's society with all its pressures and compromises. It was a lovely morning.
Saturday evening was quite unique in that all 4 of us were in together, which makes a change! We used the opportunity to catch up on our 24 viewing. It's a rule that we all have to watch it together, we cannot move on in the series unless we are all there, hence we are only 1 third of the way through Series 3 and have 3 more series to watch before getting up-to-date! We'll get there!

Sunday was Mother's Day so we had a full house. Lovely cards and presies from the girls including a 3ft Tigger balloon! We had friends over as well to discuss our holiday plans in April, back off to the Lakes as usual - looking forward to it.

Great preaching again at Church and great to catch up with people we haven't seen for a while.

Off up to Chelmsford Uni very soon to take Kelly for her interview there. Weather's lovely so it should be a nice drive.
